In my previous post, I talked about how I've always enjoyed lifting heavy and being big. One of the things I never like to do in the gym was take the time to stretch. Over time that resulted in me having the flexibility of a mountain, that is to say, none.
My BJJ instructor recommended a book he used to achieve full splits in only a month, titled: Even the Stiffest People can do the Splits.
Despite being in fantastic shape, he wasn't particularly flexible when he started which is what sparked my interest. I figured if it could work for him I might as well give it a try.
It's a very unassuming book. There is an older Japanese lady on the cover doing a split with her chest on the ground and arms stretched out in front of her. all while looking up at the camera.
